Creating a healthy and hygienic sleep environment: Mitre’s Checklist

As part of National Bed Month, we are discussing the importance of creating a healthy and hygienic sleeping environment for your guests and what measures you can take to ensure they can relax in the knowledge that your beds are clean and fresh.

It is important to consider how an unclean bed can have a negative effect on your guest’s quality of sleep. Fortunately, there are steps you can take to minimize the amount of dust mites, bodily fluids and even bed bugs from entering your beds and mattresses and thus provide a healthy and hygienic night’s sleep.

1. Protect your mattress

2. Invest in a pillow protector
