Alton Towers - Themed Guest Rooms

The theme park resort contacted Mitre with the challenge to create bespoke soft furnishings for their Arctic Explorer themed family rooms.

The room’s artic inspiration is brought to life through an array of patterns, colours and fabrics. The curtains comprise of a navy crushed velvet and gold tiebacks complimented with bed runners and cushions printed with a compass design to re-inforce the theme of the room.

Celtic Manor Lodges – Contemporary yet Cozy

The prestigious Celtic Manor Resort based in Newport, South Wales, made an addition to their already luxurious resort with their Hunter Lodges.

They asked Mitre to produce a range of soft furnishings to help complete the look they wanted to achieve.

The Mitre team visited the lodges and worked closely with the establishment to help them create a warm, cosy atmosphere with a contemporary style for their guests.

Rachel Price, Soft furnishings manager said “It was important that the soft furnishings created would fulfil the lodge’s purpose of being relaxing and luxury getaway for guests. We produced soft furnishings for both the living area and bedrooms, which included curtains, bed runners and cushions. The fabrics and colours we used helped to create the warm atmosphere that the customer wanted.”

The Celtic Manor said “The Mitre team were really hands on and helped create the perfect ambience for our luxury self-catering Hunter Lodges.”

Little Sliver Country Hotel – Traditional Guest Rooms

Quaint and charming, the Little Silver Country hotel is situated in the picturesque town of Tenterden. The owners wanted to represent the towns charm through the hotels interior.

Mitre created soft furnishings in order to showcase the property’s historical atheistic. Detailed swags and tails and a canopy above the bed helped to achieve the traditional look and feel the customers requested.

Meilee Liu, Project manager said “I was delighted to work on this project, the stylish use of the print clash paired with the traditional swags and tails gave the rooms a contemporary twist.”

Tyndale B&B – Luxury Boutique

The Tyndale is located in the coastal town of Torquay, owners Daniel Killk and Andrew Burton contacted Mitre as they were looking to create a unique look for each of their guest rooms.

Laura Webber, Mitre’s Regional Sales Manager visited the B&B to advise what are the best products for both the property, and their guests. Laura recommended that they use Mitre’s bespoke soft furnishings service, where they could choose from countless prints and fabrics and helped guided them throughout the refurbishment project.

One room was given a striking geometric look and feel using black and gold, whilst another was transformed with on trend denim colour palate and a sliver crushed velvet headboard.

Taking inspiration from a room’s green wallpaper, another bedroom was given a crisp new look using curtains, runners and a mixture of cushions in Rhapsody aqua fabric.
